We'll arrange a call to get to know you properly — your experience, your approach and whether Growthopia is the right fit. We're selective, and we'll be honest with you about whether we think it's a match.

Get set up

If we're both happy to proceed, we'll get you set up on the platform — your profile, your availability, your preferred way of working. The whole process is straightforward and we support you throughout.

Start advising

We match you with clients whose businesses and challenges are relevant to your experience. You work with them in the way that suits you — sessions, ongoing coaching, or both. You're in control of your time and your workload.

No. We don't require formal coaching qualifications. What we require is real, hands-on business experience — you must have built, grown and ideally sold a business yourself. That lived experience is far more valuable to our clients than any qualification.
That's entirely up to you. Some advisers take on a handful of clients and work a few hours a week. Others build a more substantial advisory practice. You control your availability and your workload — Growthopia fits around your life.
We work with businesses across a wide range of sectors — trades and construction, professional services, retail, health and wellbeing, hospitality, technology, financial services and more. We match advisers with clients based on relevant sector experience.
We match clients with advisers based on the relevance of the adviser's background to the client's business and challenges. If you've run a trades business, you'll work with trades business owners. We don't just assign clients randomly — the match matters.
Sessions are typically conducted via video call, though in-person sessions can be arranged where appropriate. For Rapid Advice sessions, you'll have a 60-minute call with the client. For ongoing coaching, you'll agree a regular cadence with each client directly.
The best thing to do is get in touch and have a conversation. We'll be honest with you about whether we think it's a good fit — and if it's not right now, we'll tell you why and what might change that. There's no commitment at the application stage.
